Thanksgiving/Christmas!
On Friday, we headed to Minnesota for our annual Thanksgiving/Christmas celebration with the Hedlunds and Hughsons. We had a wonderful time, as always. Aunt Jen thinks of everything and the boys just love going there to see everyone! The boys enjoyed crafts, presents, and lots of laughs with their cousins! The adults had some games, drinks, and we also enjoyed time with our cousins! Thank you to Jen and Paul for everything and also to Great Papa for the presents!

Happy Thanksgiving!
The boys and I went to Aunt Peggy's house for Thanksgiving. Daddy had to work, but luckily he was able to make it over for dessert! The boys had a great time playing with Nana and Peg's old dollhouse... of course, they added legos to it!
Peggy and Nana made a wonderful dinner for all of us! Thank you Peggy and Brian for hosting us! Conner, Ben, and Brecken enjoyed the pilgrim hat cookies that Nana helped them make!
Happy Thanksgiving!!!

First Snow...
With Daddy having strep throat this week, Conner, Ben, and I decided to take care of our first snowfall! My first time using the snowblower! The boys also helped, but mostly enjoyed throwing snowballs at each other!

Getaway!
The boys are with Nana and Gramps tonight so that Mom and Dad can have a night away! It has been a while, so we headed to Galena for the day and stayed overnight in Dubuque! It was great to get away and enjoy some time together!!! Happy 14th anniversary!

Pretending...
Conner and Ben were pretending to be underwater divers, I think... I also heard something about sharks... Just thought it was so cute that they were making up their own little game, even if it was right in the doorway of my bedroom this morning!

Munga...
We lost our beloved Munga this week. It has been a long hard few days, but we have been surrounded with such an awesome family. This has hit our boys pretty hard, as they try to make sense of how this all works. The visitation and funeral for our Munga are now done. We will miss her so much.
Munga, you always were so thoughtful and genuine with everyone. You noticed everything and I know you are having a good laugh in heaven as I am writing this and fielding questions from Ben and Conner... "Can we call her now? Can she still give us kisses? Will we see her again? Why did we leave her at the place (cemetary)? Why did she have to die?" So many questions from these two boys that love you so much. They got your Halloween cards in the mail the day after you passed away. They were pretty amazed (and a little confused!) You will be missed so much. You have filled our lives with love, taught us how to treat each other with kindness, and you have always made us laugh! Thank you for everything Munga, we love you so much! We miss you so much already...

Halloweens Past...
I just couldn't help taking a little extra time today to look at the old Halloween photos! I remember each and every one like it was yesterday! Love these two so much!
