Jerky!

We stopped for snacks on the drive home Sunday. Nick asked the boys what they wanted and Conner replied "jerky!!!" Ben agreed! They were feeling pretty grown up, like Dad!

Birthday Party...

We went to Ankeny this weekend to celebrate our nieces' birthdays, Adeline and Piper! Adeline had a party Saturday night and we all had fun celebrating!

Mom had to work today and the boys had no school, so luckily, Dad was able to take the day off! The boys had lots of fun hanging out with Dad today. They went out to lunch and went bowling!

The boys and I don't have school today so we took a McDonalds break in between running errands!

Early Valentines!

The morning after the big party, the kids enjoyed some valentines from Nana and Gramps!

40...

Today is the day I turn 40! Hard to believe and certainly doesn't feel like it... in most ways! This morning, Nick made breakfast, showed me an awesome picture board that he made all by himself, and my 3 guys showered me with gifts! Conner, Ben, and I waited while Nick got the driveway cleared of snow and then we headed out for the day to spend some time in Iowa City. We drove around and looked at a lot of old familiar places. It was fun showing the boys where Mom and Dad met! We also went to Coralridge where Nick got me a new fitbit! We drove home and I was greeted with a surprise party filled with family and friends! I was surprised, although I knew something was up because Nick had been cleaning a lot! Thank you so much to my family for organizing everything and doing so much work to make the party a success! Thank you to Nick for being an amazing husband!

We were sitting next to the ice rink at Coralridge while we got some Whiteys ice cream and Conner was pouting because we weren't ice skating...

SURPRISE!!!!

I really can't thank everyone enough for the party and the surprise! I am one lucky lady! This is a day I will never forget!

Monopoly...

Snow Day!!! The boys have been begging to play the electronic Monopoly, so went spent a large portion of our morning playing that! They both did really well! They also got all of their valentines ready for next week!

Outside or Inside...

Nick and Ben were outside scooping snow, while Conner and I stayed warm inside tonight! Conner decided he didn't want to brave the cold! Ben was excited to help Dad and was even more excited when they helped a neighbor with her driveway, too. Gotta love that boy's heart!

Party...

The boys and I were invited to one of my student's birthday party on Saturday at Happy Joe's. Conner and Ben definitely enjoyed the arcade games the most! Here are a few of the friends at the party!
