Yard Ball...

One of the boys' favorite things to do right now is to play football in the yard with Dad!

 

Breakfast in a Mug...

Ben and Conner are taking Family Consumer Science at school this quarter and they are learning about cooking. Last week, they learned how to make an "egg omelet" and I was surprised to learn that they did it in the microwave! And in a mug! Ben wanted to show me how they did it, so he made himself breakfast in a mug. I am not sure I would call it an omelet, but it was pretty good scrambled eggs with cheese and ham. He made himself seconds! Conner didn't like it so much, so he opted out this morning!

 

Back to the Races...

The boys were overjoyed to be able to go to a race tonight after not being able to go for soooo long! They went to Farley and had a great time. They didn't get home until midnight so there might have to be some naps tomorrow! The boys took some of their allowance money and Conner got a racing shirt and Ben decided on a hat. They were so happy that they got to go!

 

Vaccine...

After much discussion between the four of us and all of our doctors, we decided to get the boys the Covid vaccine and today was their first shot! They were nervous (especially Conner) but they did great and entertained all the nurses while we were there!

 

Mud Legs...

These guys got a little dirty on their bike ride today! All the legs were covered in mud! They had a great time!

 

Off Roading...

Nick introduced the boys to some new dirt trails today!

 

Concert!

The guys had a great band concert tonight! It was so much fun to go to a concert after all this time. The boys really enjoyed playing on stage!

 

Mother's Day!

We celebrated Mother's Day with flowers and we got our gardens planted! It was a great day with my guys! Happy Mother's Day!
