Basketball Camp...

Ben and Conner have been attending basketball camp this week for a few hours in the mornings. They have been loving it and I am very impressed with all they are learning. They have run out to the car everyday so excited because the coaches are telling them how well they are doing. They both got the coveted "hustle award", Conner on Tuesday, and Ben on Wednesday, so that was very exciting for them! We are so proud of how hard they have been working!

 

Early Gift!

The boys' 14th birthday is quickly approaching and we knew that we wanted to get them new phones, so Nick and I surprised them with some new phones today! We wanted to wait until their birthday, but in the world of cell phones, you have to work around the promotions so they got them a little early! They are very pumped and can't wait to have more storage so they can play more games and possibly enter the world of social media...

 

Visit...

We got to see Great Grandma today and listen to a few bands as we visited with her. It is always so great to see her!

 

Happy Father's Day!

We are celebrating Father's Day today because we are going to Bettendorf in just a little while, so we can spend the night with my parents and then the boys are going to spend a few days there with Nana and Gramps! Nick has been hinting that he needed a new charcoal grill, so that is what he got! Happy Father's Day to my amazing husband who is the most sensational father to our boys! They truly adore you, Nick, and we thank you for all that you do for us! Also Happy Father's Day to our Papa and Gramps who continue to show us how to be great parents! 

We made it to Bettendorf and enjoyed a fire outside while the boys played yard games!

One Last Morning...

One last morning on the lake for us... today is the day that we have to make our way back home! The guys got in one more fishing trip, and we took some family photos before we left. Ben and Conner didn't make it too far before they both gave into their exhaustion from the last few spectacular days! Thank you to Mama and Papa for a wonderful vacation! We all had such a fantastic time! It was so nice to get away with our family and enjoy the beautiful weather and listen to our kids laugh and have fun the whole time!

Perfect Tuesday!

We had another perfect afternoon and evening of tubing, swimming, and fishing! We had our annual fish fry for dinner. These few days sure have gone too fast! 

 

Tuesday Morning...

The boys both caught some big fish on their early morning expedition! After breakfast, the boys went out fishing with Bill and Kristin and their girls, while Nick and I stayed back and fished off the dock for a while! The guys cleaned more fish this morning and even had time for a little rest before the afternoon!

 

More Fishing...

After dinner, we all headed back out to the lake. Papa took Ben and Conner fishing in his boat, while the rest of us went for a ride on the pontoon! We all caught more fish, so we will have plenty for dinner tomorrow night!

 

Monday Tubing...

Nick was very excited to go tubing today! We had to convince Conner and Ben, both were a little scared, but they both ended up tubing several times and they loved it! It was an amazing day to hang out on the beach and in the lake! The guys even caught some little fish in the net while we were swimming! (They had been trying so hard, so we were pretty pumped when they actually succeeded!)
