I can't believe that today is actually the last day of school. This was a hard year for us! The boys had a lot to prove this year and they have done so well. They have accomplished so much in a short time. Nick and I are so extremely proud of our two boys. They are constantly being tested and compared and discussed, and yet, these two boys are the ones that people tell me, almost daily, are the nicest, most helpful, and most eager to learn little boys! Not so little anymore, I suppose. Hard to think of them as fourth graders!!! I just adore and love these two so much! We had a great last day of school and celebrated with some batting practice and Red Lobster, as requested by my 3 favorite guys! We are very excited to get our summer started!!!

Fishing...
My 3 guys could barely contain themselves when we decided to go fishing today! We had a few free hours and decided this was the best way to spend our time together! Nick caught a tree and a snake wanted into our boat! No fish caught, but lots of fun had!!!

Good Decision?!
Well... tonight Nick did it. He shaved his head!!! It actually looks really good! He made a good decision, although it took us a while to get there! We went back and forth about it. I am happy that it turned out good and that he is happy with the result!!!
Visit...
The boys and I were able to go visit my grandma today in Cedar Falls and we met my parents there. It was so good to see her! After our visit, the boys wanted to go with Nana and Gramps to see Great Grandpa Hasty's gravestone. When we were done there, we decided to go to another cemetary and visit Great Grandma Hedlund's stone. It was nice to see it and talk about how much we miss her. Nana and Gramps had already visited Grandma and Grandpa Merriau's graves so we didn't actually see those today, but it was so nice to take the morning and remember our grandparents!

Fidgets...
We have resisted the "fidget spinner" craze... until today! The boys had to have some bloodwork done and that is always a hard day, so a friend at work had given me fidgets for the boys and we decided that the boys could earn them today! They were so happy that they finally were able to get their very own fidget spinner!

Storms...
The boys were nervous with all the storms tonight. I looked at them and Ben was holding Conner with one arm and his sword was in the other! It was very cute! We had the boys stay up late tonight because they need to be "sleep deprived" for some neurology tests tomorrow, so while we listened to the storms, we played with some photos, too. At 10:00pm, they begged us to let them go to bed!!! Our superheroes...
Magic Bands!!!
Our Disney Magic Bands came today! The boys have been checking the mail everyday for weeks! It was pretty exciting opening that package! We are so excited to go to Disney World in a few weeks!

Bike Rodeo!
Today was the "bike rodeo" at school. Ben and Conner have been looking forward to this since the end of second grade! They got to take their bikes to school and do some activities with their bikes throughout the day. Nick rode over after school and the boys all got to ride their bikes home from school, which was the funnest part of the experience! 12 more days of third grade...

Two Games, kind of...
Conner and Ben had a soccer game this morning and they were ready to go! Unfortunately when we got to the soccer game, we were missing an opposing team! Still don't know why we weren't notified, but the team that we were supposed to play never showed up. So, the team practiced for a while and enjoyed the wide open field!
An hour later, it was time for our first real baseball game! Fun day!!! Conner is #2 and Ben is #3! They are on the Cubs and they won their game today 13-3!
