Happy Halloween!

Conner (Bumblebee) and Ben (Optimus Prime) were very excited to attend a neighborhood Halloween party and go trick-or-treating tonight! We had a great time walking around watching the boys run from house to house! After about an hour, Conner told us he was exhausted, so we made our way home and to bed! Happy Halloween!!!

Invention Convention Prep...

Fourth graders participate in an Invention Convention in November, so we have started preparing! Conner tried making some "bubble wrap glasses!" We will probably make another pair for his final model, but I think they turned out pretty good! Conner wanted to make bubble wrap glasses because he has a very recent history of breaking and scratching his glasses every few weeks! Ben is going to make some kind of focusing headgear! We didn't get Ben's done, but he tried on the headgear part. We just have to cut and shape it. Ben wants to make something to help him listen to his teacher better at school! Stay tuned...

Carving Pumpkins!

We spent some of our Sunday afternoon carving pumpkins! Conner and Ben were both very happy with their finished products!

Freezing at the Soccer Field!

We got home from Wisconsin this afternoon and the boys had a soccer game later in the afternoon. It was FREEZING! I still loved watching the boys play their game. Conner was always right there in the action and Ben ended up scoring a goal in the 4th quarter! They were so proud!

Water Park and Dance Party!

On Friday morning we got up and spent the morning in the water! The guys had such a great time. We took a break for some lunch and a few more games, then headed back to spend the rest of the day in the wave pool and on the water slides. Ben and Conner both went on the Tornado with Nick, which is the biggest water slide there!

The boys got to spend their tickets in the game room and we ordered a pizza for dinner! Then we had a little time to relax before the boys got to put on their costumes! Ben got to be Optimus Prime and Conner was Bumblebee. The Transformers got to go listen to a story in the lobby and then it was time for the Halloween dance party! They had a great time! Conner and Ben both actually danced for a while before admitting that they were exhausted and ready for bed! We had a great trip!!!

Wisconsin Dells!

We don't have school on Thursday and Friday, so we headed to Wisconsin Dells today to spend a couple of nights at Great Wolf Lodge! We arrived a little late to swim, so we headed to the game room tonight! After some games and unpacking, the guys enjoyed some snacks before bed!

School Concert!

Tonight, Conner and Ben had their art and music show at school! They got to sing songs about Autumn and Ben had a special singing part and Conner had a speaking part! They both did amazing. It is always fun to watch these two at their concerts because they get so excited!!! We were very proud of both of our boys tonight!
