Easter Eggs!

Ben and Conner wanted to dye some eggs for Easter!

Out to Lunch...

A day off of school usually means errands and McDonalds for us!

Homemade...

 Nick made us a homemade cookie with ice cream tonight!

Snack...

Ben enjoyed a bowl of cereal this afternoon that he "made" all by himself for a snack! 

March Snow Storm...

The boys are headed out to enjoy the snow!

Last Tooth...

Ben begged the nurse to pull his tooth out today! If our calculations are correct, this is our last visit from the Tooth Fairy... I think...

Newspaper...

Ben and Conner were pretty excited when a teacher at school brought in the newspaper with their basketball picture in it! They couldn't believe they made it in the paper!!!

Alone Time...

We asked the boys to find something to do by themselves for a while. This was a funny sight to me since the boys hardly ever do anything in their rooms with their doors closed... guess they are growing up... Later Conner was showing us the song he wrote, complete with music notes and words written on paper! It was very cute!

Shopping...

More errands and shopping today means we had to make a stop at McDonalds for these guys to fuel up!

Outside...

The guys were finally able to spend an afternoon outside today!

Hockey...

We wanted to do something different tonight so we got tickets for the Cedar Rapids Rough Riders hockey game. We all had a great time! It was definitely something we will do again. The boys were funny to watch because they got so startled every time a player would get slammed up against the wall! We even came home with a puck! Before the game even started, when the team was warming up, a stray puck landed not too far away from us so we grabbed it!

Mixed Feelings...

After having to spend way too much money fixing a sensor on Nick's car, we drowned our sorrows at Five Guys for lunch. Ben and Conner loved the shakes.

Lunch...

Ben and Conner got to choose where we went for lunch today. They chose Pizza Ranch...

Spring Break!

We are celebrating Spring Break this week with some wings for dinner! Conner was helping Dad cook!

Lego Fun...

After a run to Target, Ben and Conner had fun putting together some new Legos this afternoon! They are really getting good at building sets all by themselves!
