Celebration...

We had Thanksgiving and early Christmas with the Hedlunds, Hughsons, and McLelands this weekend. The boys had lots of fun as always! We enjoyed lots of food (Ben loved the shrimp) and we watched the Hawks win before the kids waited to open some presents. The boys loved their new sweatshirts from Great Grandpa! 

Thanksgiving!

We went over to Peg's and Brian's house for Thanksgiving day! We enjoyed our feast and the boys loved meeting Peg's new dog! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Hawkeye Basketball!

We surprised the boys with tickets to the Hawkeye basketball game tonight! We had a lot of fun!

First Band Concert!

Conner and Ben had their first band concert tonight!!! It was so amazing to watch them do their thing! The whole band did a fantastic job! The boys really enjoyed being on stage in front of the audience!

Basketball!

The boys started basketball tonight and loved practicing with their new team, the Pacers!

Lucky Number 17...

Today marks our 17th wedding anniversary! Hard to believe, but it is awesome to celebrate another year with my amazing husband! The boys went to stay with Nana and Gramps, so Nick and I are planning on shopping for a new vehicle and going to dinner at our favorite local place! Happy Anniversary to my mister who is awesome beyond words. From his cooking to his work ethic, from his parenting to his sense of humor, he's got it all! Happy 17 My Love!!!!

Free Time...

It seems we have less and less free time around here, but when we do, I can usually find Ben writing a story or drawing, and Conner is usually at the kitchen table making some kind of craft that always includes scissors, tape, and glue!

Last Soccer Game...

Conner and Ben had a great last soccer game today! They have improved so much! (Yes, Conner has a brownie in his mouth...) They had another great game and are already looking forward to the Spring so they can start playing again!

Celebration!

We decided to go out and celebrate our good EEG results tonight. We asked Conner and Ben what they wanted to do and they chose to go to Happy Joes! So, we enjoyed some pizza and the boys enjoyed their games! We had a great time celebrating!
