New Hoop!

Our new basketball hoop has arrived and the guys were pretty excited to get it put together! Nick has the concrete poured and in a few days, we can install the hoop. The boys have missed shooting hoops in the driveway since the derecho!

 

Birthday Fishing...

We were able to go meet Mama and Papa for some fishing this evening and we even got some cake to celebrate Nick's birthday! Ben posed with Dad while Conner avoided the camera!

Happy Birthday to this amazing man! The boys did not have school today, but Nick and I both had to work, so we had a little celebration when we got home! Happy 43rd Birthday Honey!!! We love you beyond words!

 

7th Grade...

Today is the first day of school!!! First day in 6 months, first day of 7th grade, and first day I will be without my boys in quite a long time...  We were all nervous this morning, but the guys came home pretty excited! They loved being able to see people again! It is definitely going to be a different kind of year, but they are off to a great start. I am so proud of their determination and their ability to adapt to all of the changes! Day 1 = Success!!! Although I did miss them terribly...

 

Lookin Good!

Nick and I got the boys a couple of new Hawkeye items today so the boys had to wear their new favorite shirts! 

 

Hair Cuts!

Well, it is time for haircuts... here we are before...

And after!!! They look so good! It was hard (especially for Ben since he had such long hair) but the boys feel good and are ready to go back to school! 

 

Last Pool Day!

We spent the day enjoying the pool, maybe for the last time this summer!
