Brakes...

Conner learned how to change brakes and rotors today!

 

Pool...

We had a little pool time today! We are working our way through To Kill a Mockingbird, so we read a couple chapters while we sat in the cold water with the hot sun!

 

Perfect Evening!

We spent the afternoon and evening at Palo today and we had the best fishing we have ever had there! The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed a picnic supper in the boat. The fish that Nick is holding is one that I caught and I think it is the biggest fish we have ever caught at this lake! Perfect evening all around!!!

 

Birthday Money!

We made a Target run today so that the boys could spend some of their birthday money! They each chose a remote control car and they were able to get a couple more Nintendo games as well, so they were happy boys! They were even able to save some of their money to keep in their wallet for now!

 

Helpers...

The boys helped us make dinner tonight and it definitely reminded me that we need to use our helpers more often to make dinner!!!

 

New Shades...

We ordered some prescription sunglasses for the guys and we have been eagerly anticipating their arrival! They came today and the boys love them!!! I think they look awesome!

 

Fun with Nana and Gramps!

We had a very fun Saturday with everyone in Bettendorf! The kids got to drive their boats at the lagoon and played outside in the pool while Gramps filled up water balloons for them! We had a fantastic dinner and everyone got to open birthday presents in the evening! We had a great time celebrating!

 

July Birthdays!

We traveled to Bettendorf today to celebrate all of the July birthdays in our family for the weekend! Our boys love some cousin time!

 

Lake Delhi!

We ventured over to Lake Delhi for the first time today! We had tons of fun racing around the curvy lake and seeing all of the different kinds of lake houses in the area. It wasn't a great fishing spot for us, but we got to go fast and we greatly enjoyed the ride! We have loved having Nick at home on vacation with us this week!

 

Golf and a Movie...

We went to an indoor golf simulator today and the boys had lots of fun! We tried a new place for lunch and then headed to the theater to see the new Thor!

 

Sunshine!

We  headed out to Palo today for some fishing and sunshine!

 

Party Day!

We had a great birthday party today for our boys!!!
