Done!

We are all officially done with school today! The boys enjoyed a few days home alone while I finished the last few days of the school year. It feels so good to be done!

 

Back to the Boat...

We were able to get the boat out today! Everything worked and we really enjoyed being back out on the lake! Summer!!!

 

Last Day!

Today turned out to be the boys' last day of school! There are 3 days of school next week, but they are finals days for the high school and we found out this morning that Ben and Conner have all of their work done so they have no finals! All As and Bs for these guys this semester and we could not be prouder! They are pretty excited that they are done with their sophomore year of high school!!!

 

New Stove...

After our oven died on Mother's Day, we looked and looked for a new one that would be similar to the one we had. We ended up finding one at Lowes and it was delivered today! Yay!!!

 

Last Game!

Today was the last soccer game of the season! Ben got to start, so that was pretty exciting. Conner got tons of playing time later in the first half. He was able to get several opportunities to kick the ball. They won the game so everyone was very excited. It was a great way to end the season!

 

Happy Mother's Day!

Mother's Day kinda snuck up on us this year! We have been so busy (and sick) but we celebrated today! We went flower shopping yesterday and got some things planted in the gardens. Today we enjoyed a little relaxation between homework, chores, and some oven shopping since ours decided to quit today! Just another crazy (normal) day...  Happy Mother's Day!!!

 

More Soccer!

LinnMar almost got it, but ultimately lost 1 to 2. They tried hard and played a decent game, but Iowa City High is a great team. The whole team was pretty disappointed, but Ben and Conner had a good game and even had a bit of fun!

 

Sick...

It has been a hard couple of weeks in our house. At least one of us has been sick every single day. Ben is finally good, Nick and I are hopefully on the mend, and Conner came home from school with a fever yesterday. So, Conner and I will be home again today... Walking pneumonia seems to be the consensus and it is taking forever to get over it! 

 

Another Win!

Another soccer game tonight! The boys played over at Kennedy and were able to get another win! The guys both had more playing time and did really well!
