Lazy Sunday...

We haven't had such a lazy Sunday in a while... It was really nice!  Ben and Conner had fun lacing their measuring tape through Dad's belt loops and when they got tired of that, they sat on the couch and played with their "tablets."  I love it when they sit quietly and entertain themselves... it is such a rare occurrence...

Moving...

We might be closing on our house Feb. 24 now (a little earlier than expected!) so we went to look around today to see how everything was going.  We might be able to paint a few rooms this coming weekend!  It all is getting very real now as we realized that we could be moving in a month!!!!

 

Snow Angels...

Ben and Conner loved making snow angels today!

Conner was hilarious because he just kept rolling around in the snow!

Shoveling...

Conner and Ben finally talked us into letting them go outside to shovel tonight.  After Daddy and the boys had been outside for a few minutes, I went out to see how they were doing.  I snapped a couple pictures and asked them if they needed to come back inside to warm up.  Conner and Ben both told me through their snotty noses and rosy cheeks that they weren't cold at all and they wanted to stay out with Dad!

No Nap...

We had another open house today... during nap time, of course...  The boys just can't quite make it without a nap yet!  About 7pm, Ben was almost asleep sitting with Daddy and Conner passed out on the couch!

Drywall...

Nick's parents and grandparents came to see our new house today so we took the trip over there and were quite surprised when we walked in and saw all the drywall is up!  We were very excited, and then panicked because we still have to pick out paint!

After taking a tour of the new house, dinner at Chilis and some winding down at home, it was time for Mama, Papa, Great Grandma, and Great Grandpa to go.  The boys thought they would help Great Grandpa with his shoes!

Thank you Mama and Papa for making the trip and for taking us out to dinner! 

Happy (Half) Birthday!

Today was the day that we chose to celebrate the boys' (half) birthdays at school!  We took pictures and put suckers through them to give to all of their friends and enjoyed some ice cream sandwiches for snack at school.  Conner and Ben were very excited about their birthday hats and the fact that they both got to be leaders today!  I had two very happy little guys today!
