First Summer Park Outing...

The boys did some reading activities at their school this morning and then we spent the rest of the morning at the park! We are going to see if we can get to all the parks in Marion this summer! It was a great morning spent outside with my guys! We started a little weaving project this afternoon. The boys have been very interested in weaving, so I found a video that showed us how to do weaving on straws.  The boys are very excited to make their own bracelets!

Bug Catchers...

Ben and Conner were catching bugs outside today!  Just happened to snap this picture right after one of Ben's bugs got away, so he was not a happy boy. Conner, however, was having a grand old time!

Last Soccer Game!

This is it for soccer!  The boys have had a fabulous time playing soccer and their skills have improved so much. With the baseball game this morning, I think they were a little tired for the soccer game this afternoon, but they hung in there!  Good job, boys!

Baseball!

Baseball practice started a few weeks ago and Conner and Ben had their first game this morning.  They both did very well and I am excited to see how much they learn this year!

Soccer Playoffs...

The boys have soccer playoffs this weekend!  Their spring soccer season will soon be over!  Ben and Conner have had so much fun!

Summer Fever...

The boys had a fabulous last day of school yesterday.  Really, we all did.  I was sad and the boys said they were sad to leave second grade, but they are just so excited for summer right now!  They slept in a little this morning and then insisted that we start the day in costumes...  hey, whatever makes them happy!  We spent some of the afternoon playing in the backyard, but I believe the summer fever has gotten to them a little, so we are going to try for some rest time now... in separate rooms...

The last day of second grade. I cannot believe how fast it came. I'm not ready. Ben and Conner are all smiles this morning because it is going to be a very fun day. For them. (sigh)
