Happy Mother's Day!

Today is Mother's Day! Nick had to work this morning, but we enjoyed the day together with a few gifts and a wonderful dinner. The boys were great helpers today! Happy Mother's Day!

Adventureland!

Today we all went to Adventureland to watch the boys perform there with their 8th grade band. They left on the bus at 6:45 this morning and Nick and I drove there to watch their performance and spend the day at Adventureland with them! The performance was great and then we spent the rest of the morning and afternoon enjoying the park. The boys went with Nick on the new roller coaster, The Phoenix, and they thought that was pretty cool. The bumper cars, however, will always be their favorite!

 

Sick...

Ben has been home sick for the last couple of days with a terrible cough, but today for lunch he requested breakfast burritos and he wanted two all for himself, so I think he is on the mend!

 

Lessons...

Ben and Conner are ready for another driving lesson!

 

Goal!

We got to watch another soccer game tonight in the frigid wind, but the boys did awesome and Conner even scored a goal! They were both so happy! Conner ran back down the field with his hands in the air while his team chanted his name!

 

Sump Pump...

Our sump pump died this week... at some point! Last night, Nick saved the day by pumping a bunch of water out and today the guys installed a new sump pump! I am very happy to report that is works just great! While they were installing the new pump, I went to check on the progress and found them going through Nick's boxes of nascar cars...

 

Bells...

Ben purchased a new hat at the school store this week. Complete with bells...
