Happy Halloween!

 We had a quiet Halloween this year! The weather was really nice. It happened to be one night that we had relatively free so we took advantage by just handing out candy and hanging out! It was actually really nice! Happy Halloween!

Bedroom Progress...

We are getting close to having the ceiling done in the basement bedroom! We just have to figure out how to do the ceiling in the hallway... this has definitely been our least favorite part of building this bedroom!

 

Surprise...

The die cast car that we ordered for Conner 3 months ago showed up today! Conner is beyond excited for this. His favorite driver is Martin Truex Jr, and we were able to get him an autographed car! 

 

Colds...

Ben and Conner have had a terrible cold this week and even missed school on Friday, but they are ready to watch the Hawkeye game!

 

Homecoming Dance!

Tonight is the Homecoming Dance! Ben and Conner were very excited, and a bit nervous. They got dressed up and I took them over to the high school for the dance. They had a great time! They said that they danced a lot and talked with many friends! It was a great experience for their first high school dance!

 

Parade!

We watched the Homecoming Parade tonight that goes right past our house! The boys visited with friends and collected bags of candy!
