We went back to Iowa City this week for a check up for Ben and we got a piece of good news... his platelet count got up to 47k! We are cautiously optimistic that just maybe the new medicine is working some magic... but whatever happens in the next few weeks, Ben was ecstatic because the doctor said he could play basketball!!! (As long as he is careful...!) Ben was able to play with the team today and both Ben and Conner had an excellent game!
