"The purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experiences." - Eleanor Roosevelt

Happy New Year!

Just can't believe that another year has come and gone!  We had a wonderful 2015, despite the fact that I am ending it with a flu bug...  not a fun thing, but our year was definitely full of awesome events, accomplishments, vacations, laughs, and more fun times than I could ever count.  I love these 3 men that I get to live my life with everyday!

I tend to save quotes that mean something to me, so here are a few that got saved this year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Winter Break...

You gotta love winter break... buiding with all our new Legos, playing in the snow, building a playground out of knex pieces for Lego Batman and Lego Spiderman, and, of course, some Wii games...  we do stay busy!  (Truth be told, I would do this everyday if we could!)

Christmas in Bettendorf!

We traveled to Gramps and Nana's house on Christmas day.  The boys got to play with their cousins and we got to relax a little and act like it was Christmas Eve all over again!

Santa visited us a day late this year!  The boys were very happy that he still found us!  And they loved making their shocked faces when they discovered Santa had eaten the snacks they had left him the night before!

Marley, Piper, Conner, and Ben were excited to open their presents and stockings from Santa!

We played games, had a wonderful feast (as Ben would call it) prepared by Nana, and watched movies until it was time to open the rest of our presents!  After all the presents, the rest of the night was spent playing with new toys!

Thank you to Nana and Gramps for a wonderful Christmas!  We appreciate all of the presents, food, and all the work you put in to make it another great Christmas!  Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas!

We went to Conrad on Christmas Eve this year so we got some pictures of the kids in their fancy church clothes!

We are ready to go on Christmas morning!  We got to spend time with family, open presents, and we had a great brunch thanks to Mama and Papa!

Thank you Mama and Papa for a wonderful Christmas!  We appreciate everything you do!!!

Our Christmas...

On December 23, the four of us had our Christmas at home! Pictures, stockings, presents, and a special present at the end!

What? Pictures of bikes???  The boys weren't sure what this meant...  Finally Conner noticed that the pictures had been taken in our basement, so they took off downstairs...

Conner loved his white and green bike and Ben was thrilled with his black and red one!  They were so happy!!!

They had to play with their new nerf guns before we called it a night!

The four of us had a wonderful little celebration together and we are looking forward to more Christmas with our families!
