Goal!

We got to watch another soccer game tonight in the frigid wind, but the boys did awesome and Conner even scored a goal! They were both so happy! Conner ran back down the field with his hands in the air while his team chanted his name!

 

Sump Pump...

Our sump pump died this week... at some point! Last night, Nick saved the day by pumping a bunch of water out and today the guys installed a new sump pump! I am very happy to report that is works just great! While they were installing the new pump, I went to check on the progress and found them going through Nick's boxes of nascar cars...

 

Bells...

Ben purchased a new hat at the school store this week. Complete with bells... 

 

Mail..

Conner and Ben have been checking the mail every day for their "real" permits to arrive and today was the day!

The boys had a great game today! Their team enjoyed the win on this especially cold and windy day!

 

Happy Easter!

We stayed home for Easter this year. It is the first day Nick has had off work for almost a month! The guys enjoyed some Easter basket goodies and Nick gave them their first driving lesson! They were both very nervous, but did very well driving around the school parking lot. Nick smoked ham for dinner and it was amazing! Happy Easter!!!

Captains...

The boys had a soccer game tonight and they were the team captains!

 

Speed...

Nick and I took the boys to Speedeez, an indoor go kart track, to celebrate getting their permits today! All three guys had a super fun time racing around the track! Conner and Ben were nervous at first and didn't go very fast, but every time that Nick passed them, they sped up just a little bit. They were all giggling and having fun. Conner caused a couple of accidents, but he enjoyed that part of it too! On the last race, Nick had to settle for a slower kart, so he wasn't very happy when Ben was able to pass him! It was a great activity this afternoon!

 

Drivers...

I took Ben and Conner to get their driving permits this morning! They will get the real permit in the mail in a couple of weeks, but it is official... we have two teenage drivers!

The boys had their first soccer game today! They both played very well and even though it was pretty cold, it was really fun to watch them play again!

 

April Fools Day!

We were ready for school on this April Fools Day and sent a quick picture to Nick, who has been stuck working every day for a while. We wanted him to know that we appreciate everything he does for our family! We will see what this April Fools Day has in store for us today!
