Home Game!

We enjoyed a home game today! The boys got lots of playing time and lots of touches on the ball so it was pretty fun to watch!

 

Much Better!

Another soccer game, but a much better experience than earlier in the week! The team won and Ben and Conner both played really well! It was a little chilly, but that didn't stop them from giving their all today!

 

Tough Game...

Today the boys had a soccer game at Iowa City High. This was a tough game and a big loss. The team and coach were pretty frustrated with the referees and everyone left feeling not so great, but the boys played great and we used the experience to discuss being flexible and how it's important to keep trying!!!

 

Nice Day for a Game...

We traveled over to Iowa City West today to watch the boys play another soccer game. It was a gorgeous day finally! Linn Mar won so that was fun for the boys!

 

Happy Easter!

We spent Easter at home this year. Nick smoked a ham and we greatly enjoyed our Easter Dinner!

 

Hand Me down...

Ben's new desk! It was my dad's old desk and I used it when I was a kid, so now it's Ben's turn. We will see if this one can last him more than a couple of years!

 

Cold!

Another soccer game today, but much colder for this one! Linn-Mar lost, but I still thought the boys played really well!

 

First Game!

First soccer game today for Conner and Ben! They were very excited and played really well! It was fun to watch them play soccer again! (Conner is #3 and Ben is #15) Linn-Mar won!

 

Nascar News!

It is official! We got our tickets to go to the Nascar race in Kansas in May!!! Plus our prerace passes! These guys are beyond excited! 

Ice Cream...

Conner handled getting the braces really well, but his mouth is pretty sore, so we decided that everyone could have ice cream for lunch!
