The race was fun to watch! There was an exciting ending where they had to go to overtime! Chase Elliott won the race. After the race was over, we made the long trek back to the vehicle and started to head home. We made it back to Marion around midnight!

Cars, Cars, and More Cars...
We got a lot of pictures of the cars right before the race started! One of our favorite things is to watch the jets fly over right before the race starts.
Pre Race Activities!
It is Race Day! We were up and ready to head over to the track. There were a lot of pre race activities and we were able to meet and greet several of the drivers before the race. Ben even found a tent where they were playing Rocket League (his favorite game!) We walked around all the merchandise and got some lunch before we headed up to the stands!

Kansas...
We are heading to Kansas today for the Nascar race at the Kansas Speedway tomorrow! It is about a five hour drive. We made reservations at our favorite BBQ restaurant, Jack Stack, for tonight. We are very excited to go see another Nascar race!

Homecoming!
Having two boys getting ready for a dance is funny because they decided to go to the dance that afternoon, we got tickets online, and they showered and dressed about an hour before dance time! Not much prep work for a Homecoming dance! The guys stayed the whole time and told us they had fun dancing with their friends.

Shock!
Conner surprised us all today when he chose to drive the car all by himself! I got home from work and couldn't get into my garage because the car was parked crooked in the driveway... I could not figure out what had happened. I rushed inside to make sure everyone was okay and there was Conner standing there smiling. He admitted he isn't great at parking! He said that he decided he needed to try it by himself so he rode around the block 8 times, with a quick stop at home to get his forgotten wallet. I was shocked to discover he had taken the car out! Good job Conner!!!
Metals...
Ben and Conner both made desktop organizers in their metals class and they were able to bring them home today!
