First Shave...

This morning brought another first for us... shaving! The boys both got electric razors for their birthday because it was time to start shaving! Conner was ready this morning and really wanted to try it, so Nick gave him a quick lesson. Ben wasn't interested so we didn't push it today, but Conner had fun with his first shave!

 

Happy 15th Birthday!

Today is the day that our two amazing sons turn 15! They started their day with lifting weights at school and then we opened a whole slew of presents! We sent the afternoon at Sparetime playing arcade games, lazer tag, and bowling with a friend. Conner got to choose the restaurant tonight, so we went to QDogs BBQ and had another wonderful birthday dinner. We ended the night with some ice cream lasagna and enjoyed playing some new Nintendo games! Happy Birthday to Ben and Conner!!!

Birthday Week!

It's the boys' birthday week! They really wanted to race go-karts so we headed across town and the three guys raced and giggled for a while. Conner got turned around once, but other than that they all stayed on the racetrack and didn't run into each other too often! We followed up our trip to Speedeez with dinner at Red Lobster, which was Ben's choice for his birthday dinner. Ben loved his salmon and shrimp meal!

 

Visit...

The boys came home today and we headed with Nana and Gramps to visit Great Grandma who had a health scare last weekend. She also took a tumble yesterday and ended up with a nicely bruised face, but it was so good to see her again!

 

All Work, No Play...

The boys are at Nana and Gramps' house for a few days and Nick and I have been hard at work getting all the drywall up in the future bedroom in the basement! Tonight we had to build a box to put around some metal poles so that we could drywall over them. Hopefully we will be done with putting up drywall tomorrow and then we will move on to mudding, taping, and sanding!

We enjoyed hanging out at the park tonight watching our city's 4th of July fireworks!
