Painting...

We got into the house to paint on Friday night, only to discover that there was still no power (hence no lights!) and painting with spot lights really didn't work so well.  So while my aunt and uncle watched the kids, Nick and I did some taping and planning!  Nick's mom and dad were here this weekend, so Mama watched the kids while Papa, Nick, and I did some painting on Sunday.  I only got a few pictures so there will be more to come when we are finally finished!

We are going to leave the kitchen and living room white for now...

Conner's room proved to be our problem area... after applying two coats of crayola yellow orange, it just kept getting darker and I really didn't like it, so Nick went back over to the house last night and primed over all the "old" orange and we will be starting all over again... with a newer and brighter "crayola sunglow!"

We got half of Ben's room done with the blue on the top of the wall.  I will be trying to get a green stripe done under the blue, so that Ben can have his very own football field!  (At least that's the plan right now...)

Nick's dad did an awesome job in our bedroom, but I don't have a picture of that yet!  We will hopefully be getting all of this done in the next coupleof days and I can't wait to post pictures of our finished rooms!  The boys got to enjoy some trike time in the basement while Mom and Dad painted!
