Eventful...

We had a very eventful Monday...  The boys found out what teacher they are going to have for fifth grade at school today! Conner will have Mr. Gralund and Ben will have Mr. Walsh. After school, Conner and Ben talked the 4th grade teachers into letting them take home some fish from their science unit. So we are now the proud owners of two goldfish and about seven guppies. Conner named one goldfish Bob and Ben named the other one Joey. After getting our fish settled, we had to go to band interviews for the boys. We met with the 5th grade band director and he tried different instruments with the kids. They have both (yes, both) decided to play the............ TROMBONE! (sigh) Their baseball practice did get canceled tonight because of all the rain today, so we were okay with that because we are all exhausted after a busy weekend and exciting Monday! Before our two boys went to bed, Ben decorated my door with nice messages while Conner had a fit about a lost library book...
