Ceramics...

Ben has been working hard in ceramics and he brought home 3 pieces to share. He glazed one purple for me! He also made a pinch pot with an xbox controller as a base! We were very impressed!

 

Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny delivered a couple of things that these two guys have been asking for. I thought cute baskets full of fun things would be enjoyed, but these two were set on getting their hands on monitors for their rooms and that bunny did not disappoint. They set up their new screens in their room and enjoyed their multiple screen setup to play games and even xbox. I thought maybe they would use them for homework... Ben assured me that they will... soon... just not today!

 

Braces!

Today is the day that Conner gets his braces off! We took a before and after photo. He did great! They got the braces off and Conner requested beef jerky and snickers! We are so happy to have the braces behind us!

Time to remember and celebrate Grandpa!

 

Sunset...

We appreciated the beautiful sunset on our drive to Orange city tonight. We are heading there to celebrate the life of Nick's Grandpa Vermaat. His memorial service is tomorrow. Nick and I had to work so we weren't able to get o the road until 6 and it was an almost 5 hour drive. It was a long night, but I loved that the boys noticed the sky and wanted to capture the moment!
