Relaxing Monday Morning...

After some early morning fishing, the short nights were already catching up to the guys and they had a little rest time after breakfast! We spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon cleaning fish, racing the remote control boats and hanging out by the beach. It was a very relaxing and entertaining morning watching the boys trying not to get wet wading in the lake. Conner almost fell right in, so by the afternoon we decided it was time for swim trunks!

 

Fish, Fish, and Fish...

On Sunday morning, the boys were up way early and ready to go fishing! In fact, today was almost completely dedicated to fishing!!! They caught lots of fish today!

 

Travel, Unpack, Fish...

We were ready to go this morning by 8:30, so we started the long trek to Annandale, MN! We made several stops because we weren't really in a hurry, but it ended up taking a lot longer than we thought because traffic was horrible around the cities because of construction, detours, and just lots of traffic! But we made it to our destination late afternoon and hurriedly got unpacked so we could get out on the lake as soon as possible! 

Packed!

We get to go on vacation tomorrow to Minnesota, so our night has been spent packing the vehicle and the boat! We are almost ready to go!

 

Soccer Banquet...

Ben and Conner had their soccer banquet tonight to celebrate the end of the season. We had a potluck and then the boys all got certificates and some awards for soccer. It was really nice that all of the kids got recognized individually and the boys really enjoyed themselves!

 

Happy Summer!

We ventured out to Palo tonight despite some boat battery issues! We wanted to get the boat out before we go on vacation next week! Nick caught a fish and the rest of us enjoyed some sunshine and a little bit of peace!
