Early Easter...

On Saturday, we heard that the Easter Bunny might be visiting Daddy's store so we went to see for ourselves.  On our way over to the store, Ben told me that he would get his picture taken with the Easter Bunny first because Conner would probably be too scared.  (Anyone who remembers our Santa and Easter Bunny visits from past years may know that Conner is not the one who gets scared!)  Anyway, Ben and Conner were ready to meet that Bunny!  When we walked into the store, the Easter Bunny was the first thing we saw.  Ben immediately hid behind me, saying that there was no way he going to go near that bunny!  Conner walked right up, picked a pencil from the basket, and waited for me to take his picture!  We gave  Ben a few more minutes to change his mind, but he was not about to give in, so we went to make a little Easter craft.  After making their oranges into "bunnies," we did a little grocery shopping.  As we were shopping, the boys got to stop at each department and collect Easter eggs!  They did really enjoy that part!

When we got home, the boys showed me their "orange bunnies" and they went through their Easter eggs, collecting all of the treats inside!

Since Conner was the only one who would go near the Easter Bunny, on our way out of the store, he grabbed an extra pencil "for his brother!"  So, here Conner is with his two pencils. Ben did finally smile and wave at the Easter Bunny as we left!  It was a pretty good afternoon and great early Easter!
