Happy New Year!

We started off our New Years Eve with running a few errands and playing with a few new toys! Nick made us some yummy chicken wings for dinner and we spent our night playing games like Pie Face and the boys got to try some sparkling grape juice! It was a pretty great way to spend our night with our kids!

We told the boys they could stay up as late as they wanted. They were all about trying to make it until midnight! We played our last game about 9:00 and wanted to watch some New Years Eve stuff on television. Conner fell asleep quickly and at about 9:30, he sat straight up, looked at me, and announced he was going to bed! Ben was also asleep by then, so after we got Conner tucked in, Nick carried Ben to bed, and Nick and I stayed up until midnight to welcome in the New Year! It was so much fun to spend the night together and involve our kids in our New Years celebration! Happy New Year!!!
