One More Time...

Today the boys are headed back to school for the first time in over two months and for the last time as 6th graders. Today is their assigned day to go in quickly and retrieve anything left in their lockers and return library books. We took some photos since this is their last day going to Excelsior as 6th graders. The boys were actually pretty nervous, and I was not allowed to go in with them, so I armed them with a checklist and the assurance that it would be okay! I sat in my vehicle and when they walked out of that school building, I knew that everything went great. They only talked to a couple of teachers, but they were so excited that they got to talk to and see a few people! They got to bring home some band certificates and programs from the conference that they were supposed to play in May. They also got their band shirts so they modeled those right when we got home. I am so happy that Conner and Ben had a good experience and we enjoyed the rest of the day!
