The boys went out fishing this morning at 6am and they were up and ready! They didn't catch any keepers this morning, but that didn't kill the excitement. Nick managed to lose his favorite fishing pole in the lake during their morning fishing trip! He insists a big fish pulled it right out of his hand... We had a gorgeous day so we spent the day fishing and swimming. The boys started off wading into the water to fish after breakfast. Then we decided it was time for swimming since they were getting all wet anyway. Ben and Conner both jumped off the end of the dock which was a new thing for them! There are a bunch of snails in the water here and Conner especially liked collecting those. We had a wonderful time in the lake today! Tonight, Ben caught the first keeper of the trip... and then he ended up dropping it back in the lake while we were waiting for Nick to bring us the basket! It was a great day!!!
