Bettendorf Break...

We desperately needed a change of scenery this week so I took the boys to Bettendorf for a couple of days.  Nick had to work so we made the trip without Daddy.  Of course, we chose the hottest days of summer to go, so our outdoor activities were a bit limited.  We spent the entire afternoon on Thursday at the Children's Museum.  The boys LOVE it there so they were so excited.  There was a Clifford display there so the boys loved that!

On Friday, after a power Target run and a much needed nap, we found ourselves back at the museum where the guys concentrated most of their efforts on the tractors.

On Saturday morning, we got out the sprinkler and the boys had a spectacular time running through the water!  They also enjoyed helping Nana water all the flowers and helping Gramps put up some outdoor lights.

The highlight for all of us was the boys' first official ride in Gramps' mustang convertible.  Ben and Conner were so excited that they finally got to ride in the "red car!"

Thanks Nana and Gramps for a great couple of days!  We really appreciate it!!!!
