Our First Movie Theater!

Today we celebrated a friend's birthday at school by going out to lunch with him and then to the movie theater!  Ben and Conner have never been to the theater before, so I knew it could possibly be a tad brutal.  We saw Cars 2 and, I have to say, the boys did great for the first hour.  I kept watching them like someone might watch a ticking bomb...  fearing that at any moment they could explode.  I discovered that taking them to the movies is definitely a two person job, as are most activities around here...  The first hour was great, after that... not so great....  but it was pretty fun to take them to their first movie and now that we have the first time out of the way, hopefully next time will end a bit better!  (Let's just say that to get them out of the movie theater, through the lobby, and out to the car was the worst ten minutes I have had in quite some time!)
