Dinner Conversation...

These boys of ours say the funniest things sometimes and we had a very sweet conversation during dinner tonight...

Conner:  (to Dad) You go to work tomorrow?
Nick:  Yep, I have to work tomorrow.
Conner:  Oh, man....  Well, I go to work tomorrow!
Nick:  You are going to go to work for me tomorrow?
Conner:  Ya, I can do it!
Amy:  What are you going to do at work?
Conner: (after thinking for a minute)  I'll pick apples!
Amy: Oh, that's a good idea!  Is that what you think Daddy does at work?
Conner:  Ya!!!  He picks the apples, puts them on the tables.
Amy:  Where are the apple trees?
Conner:  At Daddy's store.
Amy:  So, do you think that there are trees behind the store where Daddy picks all the fruit?
Conner:  Yep.  Lots of trees.
Ben:  Well he plants gardens there too.  He gets the food from the gardens too, not just trees.
Amy: Oh okay, so Daddy picks the fruit off the trees and gets the vegetables from the gardens?
Ben and Conner:  Ya!

The boys continued talking about what fruits and vegetables Daddy picks everyday!  Nick and I had a good laugh!
