Every year, the big boys get up early almost every morning and go fishing. This year, Nick wanted Ben and Conner to be able to go with him some of the mornings, so on Saturday morning, Nick surprised the boys by taking them out on the lake at six in the morning! They were very happy to be able to join Daddy! After breakfast the kids played some games, rode some bikes, played some basketball, and handled some of the fish that we have caught so far! Nick also got to take the boys out fishing individually today and the boys enjoyed that!
Last year Conner had a little meltdown when he realized what "cleaning the fish" meant! This year, he went back and forth about it, but ultimately decided that it was okay for Dad to clean the fish... hence the thumbs up in the last picture!!!
